On the documentation structure

This page serves as a “README” to Allsolve Docs. Here you’ll find information about the documentation structure and other key information when starting with Allsolve.

If you’re learning Allsolve for the first time, the Introduction is a good place to start. Open the application in the EU or US instance and try out all the relevant features as they’re introduced.

Once you’ve got the basics of working with projects down, it’s time to set up an actual simulation in your field of interest. This is where step-by-steps and example cases come in.

Step-by-step tutorials

Step-by-step tutorials contain simple simulation setups with detailed guides, aimed at first-time users. With the help of a step-by-step, even a total beginner will be able to set up a project and simulate something interesting.

There are many step-by-steps in different fields and physics, such as Bending of a cantilever beam for solid mechanics and AC losses in HTS tape for superconductors.

Example cases

Example cases contain more complex simulation setups with briefer guides, aimed at more experienced users. Working with example cases, it helps being familiar with the Allsolve workflow, but no special expertise is needed in the field to start simulating with examples.

There are numerous examples in different fields divided into subfolders, such as Loudspeaker with a cabinet for acoustics and FCBGA free warpage for semiconductor packaging.
